Western Australia's world-class undersea and aerospace capabilities will be showcased on the global stage, with local businesses set to star at two major upcoming defence events.

The WA Government is supporting 15 small and medium enterprises to join the Defence West delegation at Undersea Defence Technology (UDT) Australia 2026.

UDT, the world's leading undersea technology event, will be held in Australia for the first time in 2026, running in Adelaide from 2-4 December.

Twenty-nine WA businesses applied to join the WA Industry Delegation, demonstrating strong industry interest in attending. The 15 selected companies showcase the breadth and depth of WA's advanced industrial and defence capabilities, spanning robotics, communications, advanced manufacturing, maritime engineering, and autonomous systems.

The selected companies are: Ausco Products, Nautic Technologies, JFD Australia, Greenroom Robotics, Nodestream Technology, Geo Oceans, Proteus Maritime, Franmarine, RCR Advanced Technologies, INFIN Robotics, Fastwave Communications, Crestlink Koolan, Aurora Labs, Matrix Composites & Engineering, and VROC.

Defence West is now seeking local defence, aerospace, and space industry operators to join them as part of the Avalon Australian International Airshow 2027.

Hosted at Victoria's Avalon Airport from 23-28 February 2027, the biennial event is the largest aerospace and defence trade exposition in the southern hemisphere.

The WA Government is seeking EOIs from businesses across the State with capability, export potential, innovative technologies, or strategic relevance to Defence's Air Domain.

Both UDT and Avalon Airshow present unique opportunities for local businesses to promote their work on the world stage, build connections to global supply chains, and pursue new opportunities.

Interested organisations can apply by visiting Avalon 2027 - WA Industry Delegation Expression of Interest.
