Fee-free and low-fee TAFE campaign, You Can Make It Here, has ignited interest in the exciting job and career opportunities available by studying at TAFE colleges across Western Australia.
There have been nearly 42,000 views of the refreshed TAFE WA website, with high traffic to pages showcasing in-demand industries including advanced manufacturing, building and construction, clean energy, and essential care services.
Preliminary data shows about 19,000 applications have been submitted through the TAFE Admissions system to study at TAFE colleges full time in Semester 1 2026.
Applications from Year 12 students are up 17 per cent, to 3,056, highlighting the success of promoting practical career pathways for school leavers and celebrating TAFE's role in delivering the skills required for quality jobs.
Launched on 13 October, the campaign promotes low-fee and fee-free TAFE qualifications and their direct connection to job opportunities available in WA's growing and diversified economy.
With more than $250 million invested in new training infrastructure, more than $50 million in equipment across WA's five TAFE colleges, and booming demand in industries including clean energy, defence, aged care, and construction, it is a great time to study at TAFE.
Western Australians still have time to apply. Competitive course applications close on 14 November 2025, with offers released on 3 December 2025. All other applications remain open until 6 February 2026.
